Give them time. And I haven't even mentioned the seed eaters. It's everyone from blac cockies to billions of these finches. And the wallabies and bandicoots come every arvo.

How lucky am I? These black cockies come to my seed table every morning now, screeching loudly to announce their arrival. Very special.

I'm halfway between Dungog&Paterson but live on top of a mountain, up a dirt road. Surrounded by flooded valleys, all roads in are flooded, so it's just a case of waiting it out. Still raining, so going to be a while. Even the giant worms are energing.

Metaphor for the day, just as Insiders came on this truckload of manure was delivered from neighbour's goatshed clean out. Much sweeter smelling and useful than Insiders opinions.

This is our monthly local 20 pages of news and jokes and sports results, delivered free to letterboxes and local shops. We also had a weekly newspaper cost $s, but it closed down and now we have a better one, free to collect as well.

This is my garden resident, a tad inconvenient with four dogs, but he's been here about 6 weeks, so I guess we'll be okay.
