bullshit, megaphone politics. There are at least 10 laws already in place that could tackle this, absolutely none of them are enforced. Making new laws is an easy to implement, easy to publicise sideshow to make it look like this govt is competent and doing something. Neither is true.

the complete lack of a contingency plan of any sort shows how little our government really do with forward planning for any sort of eventuality. Traffic, health, business&industry, energy, housing, fuck all planning past the next election. Completely incompetent.

absolute shit show in Dublin today. Other than the few 'Social Media Weather Forecasters' (as Evelyn Cusack would say )there was very little emphasis on how bad this would be and no one was prepared. There was chaos with people trying to get to places they shouldn't have needed to be. e.g schools

why are we not spending money investing in building out our own military tech companies. Why not design and build drones ourselves. Maybe we could supplement our navy/air with some new drone tech we can build and sell on. invest in our own innovation and protect ourselves.
