TLDR; this is a push to privatize Trump’s “mass deportation” plan (which raises a number of ethical and legal issues) because they’re learning real fast that it was never actually possible for the government to pull it off.

This will piss off Trump and may result in him being more open to the aforementioned plans. 2) The plan to deport 12 million undocumented immigrants, in this time frame, would devastate the economy and the workforce and would send America into a recession. (4/4)

Once again, I feel it is worth mentioning that, 1) Trump’s mass deportation plan is unfeasible and can’t be pulled off in the time frame he would like it to be, especially with all the federal employees leaving their posts. (3/4)

This plan includes cash rewards (bounty) for law enforcement officers who detain undocumented immigrants, suggests deputizing 10,000 private citizens to make these arrests, and proposed “temporary camps” for processing undocumented immigrants. (2/4)
