Why has this story been so frustrating for me to stay on track with?
I love the story more than its genre. I just don’t have it in me to write a lot of romance, and I want to make it count. This version is shorter, cleaner, and much more romantic.

Draft 3: added more conflict for the FMC, changed sequence of events, added happy ending.
Draft 4- the new one: fine tuning the story to include the most relevant and impactful conflicts, the primary love interest is more involved in the story, and anything irrelevant to the romances has been cut.
