Happy, outgoing calico. Loves food, humans, dogs, and cat toys, in that order.
My human got this for Christmas. It’s a beautiful book.

I was pretty sure it wasn’t the US (although my first thought was “oh, hell, what’s the orange meatball done now”), but I had to click through into the comments to figure out whose Constitution Day you were talking about.

At this point, I could easily see a scenario where OKC finishes the regular season with the best record, but gets taken out by the Spurs in the playoffs.

Wut? He is *exactly* what he presented himself to be. He’s just not what she wanted him to be.

No sympathy for anyone who still thought he was a good guy after Jan 6.

With the help of a donor, I made a couple hundred screen printed t-shirts and stickers, and gave them away to protesters in my community.

And I finished the NY Times crossword every day this year.

That’s my guess. It’s totally unhinged. In a good way.

C was my first programming language (I’m old). After C, I spent time with C++, Java, and finally, Python. Then there was a project that I did in Python that had performance issues, and the fix was to rewrite it in C.

After one day of working in C++ again, I gave up and bought more hardware.

I don’t understand why this is not the lead story of every news source in the country, every single day.

Our neighbor’s 90 year old, 70ft palm tree just fell over across our front yard. In a Christmas miracle, it missed everything important. Whew.

In San Diego, doing the same. No rain yet, but all of our patio furniture just blew away.

The simplest answer is that they were selling out the subjects of the photos.

I would also want an investigation into who, besides Trump, got sold out to Putin and the Israelis. And also more attention to the obvious fact that Putin has the goods on Trump and is using that to control him.

Way too much attention to the political games, not enough on the actual problem.

No, but I have driven 600,000 miles since my last accident. How about you?

“Trump” class battleships. Battleships haven’t been a thing in the US Navy in over 30 years.

Can confirm. I watched one of the Canadian bootlegs yesterday. I do usually watch 60 Minutes, but it sounded like this was something I should see.

When Bush was crashing out, people weren’t leaving the Republican Party to get away from the stigma.
December 23, 2025 at 4:44 AM
So, badly underwater with all but people who still will admit to being republicans.

And I think Andy Fine should be expelled. From the country, not just from Congress.

Good lord.

Sitting it out is how we got here. But you knew that, right?

It’s interesting that Bondi doesn’t seem to remember that, while Nixon got pardoned, John Mitchell went to jail.
December 22, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Aww. I’m sorry for your loss. I read an article somewhere about her a couple of years ago. Amazing woman.

We have to do this ourselves. The regime has too much firepower for another country to come in and be successful.
December 22, 2025 at 12:59 AM
If any of us had done any one of the things he’s done, we would have been arrested, held without bail, convicted, and sent to prison for double digit terms.

The handling of classified data alone is worth a stay in prison forever sentence. And we don’t even talk about that one. It’s too boring.

Damn. Gorgeous. More, please.
