children as not important or not worthy. I would do anything to have known my big brother. His loss is immense. I don’t think it’s too much to ask to preserve the remaining grounds of #Bessborough in the memory of hundreds of children. 7/8

To preserve the grounds of Bessboro is going to cause some pain, it won’t be easy. Some will have to sacrifice & have a change of heart but how much does it mean to us to cherish the memory of all those that were lost to a regime that treated 6/8

So much was taken from my mother, her only son. So many girls/women lost their child through death or to forced adoption.
How possibly can we do them justice? How can we as a society justify doing nothing or be content with a cheap token of a memorial. 5/8

At this present time no burials have been found but it is likely that babies were buried here. 761 children died on the premises & it is these beautiful children that are likely to be buried on the grounds. 2/8
