The filibuster is pretty much dead and if it isn't, it will be. The entire GOP has handed their power over to Trump. Don't expect any filibuster to stay. Republicans have to pull away, the public needs to be calling GOP Congress daily.

It was always so weird how we just seemed to have said "no problem, don't worry about it" when we should have done something about that.

What can they do exactly? Right now Democrats aren't needed to pass anything or to confirm anyone. The GOP has all the control. The Dems tried to subpoena Musk to appear to Oversight but the GOP shut it down.

I don't know how every system and program in the entire govt won't have to be replaced. There could be backdoors all over the place. What systems are not connected to anything he has done/will do? Where has he been while there? SCIFS? How can any federal computer be trusted after this?

This just proves what I've always said, Congressional elections are the most important elections we have. Only Congress can remove a dangerous POTUS. If we only elect idiots, they don't even know how this govt is set up to work. Midterms are just as important as general elections.

If you think the next four years aren't going to be covered up with things Trump did and said, not sure what to tell you. I expect Bluesky to be reality and that reality includes Trump and it affects all of us.

Many have also ended up losing their license and even being charged. They may lose their licenses still, but won't end up being charged now.

So glad I found you. When you ran against Roy Moore, I had surgery that morning and stopped on my way home to vote. There was nothing more important that me getting out to vote that day.

This is our population breakdown. Look how many people are over 60. Why do more people not know that women couldn't open a bank account or get credit until 1974??
We need to be teaching the younger generations about this. Young girls and women need to know our RECENT past.

Oh the blue check thing just really pissed me off. It used to be a blue check was something legit, especially if it involved a person or business. Now the blue check means nothing but people that are trying to get paid for engagement.
