Blue Jays. While we call them blue, they are in fact brown. It is the chemical melanin, that is distributed in varying amounts across their bodies that creates these beautiful blue hues when they are seen in the sun. #birds, #BlueJays, #NHbirds, #wildlifephotography, #birdphotography
