I'm doing what I was elected to do, remove criminals from our Country, but the Courts don't seem to want me to do that. My team is fantastic, doing an incredible job, however, they are being stymied at every turn by even the U.S. Supreme Court, which I have such great respect for, but which seemingly doesn't want me to send violent criminals and terrorists back to Venezuela, or any other Country, for that matter People that came here illegally! The Courts are intimidated by the Radical Left who are, "playing the Ref." Great Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito correctly wants to dissolve the pause on deportations. He is right on this! If we don't get these criminals out of our Country, we are not going to have a Country any longer. We cannot give everyone a trial, because to do so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years. We would need hundreds of thousands of trials for the hundreds of thousands of Illegals we are sending out of the Country. Such a thing is not possible to do. What a ridiculous situation we are in. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Lydia Deetz got fixed on Friday and she looks like such a little Muppet in the post op PJs we got her in lieu of a cone.

She also loves sleeping on dirty laundry so our 8 year old left his uniform on the floor for her on Friday night. 😭💕

Listening to On Tyranny again today.

Timothy Snyder draws up on 20th century history to offer 20 actions we can draw upon to resist authoritarianism today.

It's a short read or listen. Highly recommend.

List of 20 actions to resist authoritarianism

1. Do not obey in advance.
2. Defend institutions.
3. Beware the one-party state.
4. Game responsibility for the face of the world.
5. Remember professional ethics.
6. Be wary of paramilitaries.
7. Be reflective if you must be armed.

This very needy boy has barely left my lap since he came home. Tomorrow he gets his check up and stitches removed, and should go back to a cone free life.

Our little orange menace is home and doing ok. The meds are keeping him fairly calm and he doesn't mind his new food at all (which is good given the price and the fact that he doesn't have a choice.)

Thanks for all the support, not matter what form it took. I appreciate you all. 💕

Boba's surgery this evening was successful. His road to recovery will require us to be quite vigilant and switch him to prescription food. Hopefully, this will mean that he doesn't have any recurrence of the blockages and will live a healthy life from here on out.

We're hoping they're able to fit Boba in for surgery yet today so he can come home tomorrow. The vet said he's a very sweet baby and is doing well. Any support would be so appreciated as we face these sudden and huge costs.

I'm gonna be a little annoying sharing updates and this link over the next few days. I'm sorry. His vet tech shared this photo. Boba is lightly sedated and has a catheter in try to get the swelling down before his surgery.

Used this wrapping paper that would also work excellently for a winter baby shower, warning the soon to be born of the wintry conditions.

Well, after a positive vet appointment, we're officially bringing in our second cat. Her name is Lydia Deetz (as in Beetlejuice) and she's about 6 months old. She's so so sweet and we're all in love with her. We'll see what Boba thinks in a bit. 😅
