Title comes from the Arabic translation of algebra (Al-Jabr), actually coined by Persian mathematician Al-Khwarizrmi. Pushing my celestial navigation work into new directions to acknowledge the roots of knowledge and ancestry.

So excited that ‘Rumi Roaming’ is finally published and in my hands! Edited and curated by Gita Hashemi, the book is a series of essays engaging with Rumi’s work through decolonial reflections on language, human relations, connections to land and water, and spirituality.
