This is the reason that we can't cut cancer funding or clinical trials. We are so much closer to a cure, and the longevity of cancer patients' lives has increased significantly.
The year I was born. we basically had no idea why cancers happened and now we understand the underlying force behind it with 100% clarity and the molecular forces behind it with many orders of magnitude more resolution.
We were entirely in the dark, and now the room is lit.

Michelle and I are thinking of the entire Biden family. Nobody has done more to find breakthrough treatments for cancer in all its forms than Joe, and I am certain he will fight this challenge with his trademark resolve and grace. We pray for a fast and full recovery.
