Able was I ere I saw Elba.
Seeing Pump Fiction in Paris with French subtitles and being the only ones laughing at obscure cultural references or double entendres.

“What do you think about the grand jury refusing to indict Letitia James twice now?”

She’s not a ham sandwich. And there’s a reason that the Magna Carta was enacted. They said no to kings.

The shortcomings of a system predicated on truth, honor, integrity and a president and congress that abides by them. Instead we have a system of ignorance, bias and patronage.

When are the misleaders going to be sanctioned, disbarred or held in contempt? Judge Boasberg certainly seems to be exploring that rabbit warren. And when will the courts order the drawing and quartering of Stephen Miller?

I guess we should be grateful Roy Cohn is dead (for a great number of reasons) because he would be Attorney General. If you thought HUAC was bad…

There is no way that they want Abrego appearing on 60 Minutes.

Isn’t there still a vindictive prosecution case in progress?

And let’s not forget the enabling SCOTUS. Two priorities going forward: SCOTUS and pardons reform. After that, dismantling of the the unitary executive. Reimplementation of environmental regs (take that Neil Gorsuch). D’s reclaiming Congress. Tearing down the ballroom. Miller & Hegseth to the ICC.

That scene towards the end of the series where Leland Palmer is driving along singing “Surrey with the Fringe on the Top” was pure Lynchian genius. That and the triggering line “Missoula, Montana”, Lynch’s hometown, was such a vengeance served cold. And FBI agent Dale Cooper.

The Pequod sails on in pursuit of one man’s obsession with revenge. The amount of time, resources and my tax dollars being wasted on this is an affront to principles of good governance and justice. Once again, every accusation is a confession: i.e. “witch hunt”.

This further emphasizes the need for regulatory reform of tax laws, international banking and M&A. Too much money in too few hands and those hands belong to evil and/or unscrupulous people or entities.

I’ve long held the belief that Keats’ line, "Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all/ Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know." pretty much summarizes a major dichotomy of existence. For everything else we have Shakespeare. There you can find the entirety of human behavior. Just ask Iago.

What I love in this scene from the end of Strangelove is the russian ambassador barely able to keep from laughing. “Being There” has a great outtakes ending. I wonder if Kubrick kept his.
