This weekend is the Air & Water Show in Chicago. Lots of jets flying by, planes doing stunts, boats and people hangin out in the beach. One of my favorite events in the city.

This is one of my favorite portraits Ive made in a while. The way this guys is framed between the stairs and the handrail… kind of mix two things I love in photography: people and architecture.

Look thoroughly. Many things happening here. Captured through the window of a barber shop when this guy noticed me, he put all together in this photo, on the right you can see what is going on inside the shop while on the left you can see some people outside.

I captured that photo at Oak St Beach in Chicago in 2024.

The way that wall is “looking at him” while he is looking back made me capture the moment.
