This is quite true for me. Like I have a playlist made up of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Frank Iero, and Black Sabbath. (So very much Metallica…lol)
That’ll calm me down far more easily than classical or New Age music. (Which, tbh, New Age type music seems to make my brain feel weird. 😬)

I’m headed towards Phase 2 of my consideration for epilepsy surgery. 😐
I’m getting another ambulatory EEG done at the end of the month, then I’m going to discuss those results and the potential next steps with my doctor in February.
If I do end up getting the brain worked on, I’m getting this.

I’ve taken the public bus to an emergency room for a severe asthma attack.
Several years ago, I took an Uber to the emergency room because of a serious meniscus tear in my knee.
And two years I took an Uber to the emergency room, with cellulitis and the beginnings of a staph infection.

I have to remember this with my epilepsy - I tend to see my seizures as going back to the start of that “6 months clear” goal. (6 months seizure free is required to get a driver’s license - regardless, I don’t drive.)

Thanksgiving dinner - first time making it myself, and it came out pretty well.
I made it today because I needed the turkey breast to thaw completely. (Last second decision to make the meal…was probably gonna happen. 😅)

Indeed - I spent thanksgiving with my sister and niece last year, and I was on sides.
This year I was by myself- and made a turkey breast. Which I had no idea they were so big!
Didn’t have foil, so I used parchment paper. And it’s not really pretty, but it was quite tasty!
