The whole thread is a necessary read.
It is a choice to focus on the political ideologies of victims.
Recently, we’ve seen more of what I would call conservative betrayal violence, committed by conservatives who were recently hurt by conservative political ideology.
That’s a very different thing than “violence coming from both sides.”

It's worth asking why every elite institution is issuing statements like this rather than pointing out the obvious fact that the institutional right commits and glorifies violence far more than the left. Is there a reason you feel you can't say that out loud?
