#FilmSky #Movies🎬 #CarryOn shows that every now & again Netflix can release a gem of a movie. Egerton's airport security officer vs blackmailing Bateman. Taut, well directed & written with Egerton & Bateman on fine form. Definitely one to squeeze into your holidays before you go back.

Highly recommend #Silo on Apple TV+. #RebeccaFerguson is superb in the lead role. If you liked #Fallout I’m sure you will like this post apocalyptic series. More serious in tone, gripping and very well acted and written.

I knew nothing about #Wicked going in & have never been a huge fan of musicals. Having said that I could clearly see the craftsmanship on display in-front of and behind the camera. #CynthiaErivo was dynamite & #ArianaGrande needs to do more comedies. #JeffGoldblum was gold.

#PiecebyPiece is a fantastic biopic of the iconic #PharrellWillliams. It is a stroke of genius for it to be told in Lego. Engaging story charting the rise, fall and rise again of #Pha-real. There are some funny moments and foot tapping well known tunes throughout.

#HughGrant is chillingly delicious as he turns to the dark side in the absorbing horror thriller #HereticMovie. Chloe East & Sophie Hatcher are also excellent. Never thought I'd be scared to be stuck in a house with Hugh Grant. Also excellent ruminations on religion. (4 out of 5)

#Juror2 is a gripping thriller wrapped in a courtroom drama. Directed by 94 year old #ClintEastwood this movie may well be his swan song. #NicholasHault and #ToniColette lead an impressive but understated cast in a story that had me gripped from the start. (4 out of 5)

#Anora is a superb movie with an electric central performance by #MikeyMadison. All is a fairy-tale for Anora or "Ani" after marrying the son of a rich Oligarch, until his parents find out. Touching, down to earth and sensitively told. It's also very funny and very sexy. (5 out of 5).

#PaddingtonInPeru is a lacklustre sequel to the near perfect Paddington 2. Lacking Two's magic & originality, in both writing and execution. The gags & jokes seem forced & location studio based (Despite parts being on location). Kids will like but adults may not. (2 out of 5).

#MyOldAss is available on @PrimeVideo. I really enjoyed this movie. It's a smart, sweet coming of age timey-wimey movie with it's feet on the ground, rooted by great turns from both #AubreyPlaza and #MaisyStella. Whilst it's a comedy it is also very poignant. (4 out of 5).

#Conclave is a superb thriller with a riveting central performance by #RalphFiennes at the heart of the action. #StanleyTucci is also great Anyway, Ralph is in charge of getting a new pope elected whilst navigating the revelations, twist & turn and agendas within the church. (4/5)
