Fun listening to 1950/60s Desert Island Discs. Everyone sounds posh, though now and then someone will say something like “Of course, we grew up in municipal housing in Manchester, you know. Father was a milkman, and mother took in laundry”.

Though whom do they imagine this brand appeals to? RefUKers/Tories will never switch to them, and they’re haemorrhaging traditional Labour voters to the Greens, Plaid, etc. Even putting basic decency aside, appeasement makes no sense. Caerphilly taught us that the way to beat RefUK is to fight them.

They’re not only pandering to RefUK’s far right agenda, they’re also aping their ‘who needs detail when a slogan will do?’ approach to policy announcements.

Never imagined a Labour govt could be this bleak.

The group has recently joined other far right protesters at Caerphilly and at their regular hatefest at Cardiff Airport, shouting racist and other violent abuse at Afghan families temporarily housed at the airport there - apparently all legal, so police let them carry on.
