I unsubscribed from the NYT on November 6th. Mostly for self-preservation of my sanity the next few years. But also bc there has been a very noticeable decline in quality. I’d rather just pay for a subscription to a local paper.

I have a friend who is one & let’s just say, it was incredibly fun rattling him incessantly at our Friendsgiving last night lol.

Haha I noticed when he said that as well, and said “Peter, I think you mean they are rattled.”

Opposite for me. I’ve read 5 books in 7 days. It’s helped tremendously to stick my head into a book instead of scrolling endlessly on social media. The key for me was to pick lighthearted romance books, ones full of optimism and happy endings, as silly as it may be.
