Feeling privileged to have been in the room where the scientific heroes of this story explained it first-hand. Inspired & fueled to go back to the lab to continue the ambitious work we have ahead with Angelman Syndrome. A few days to decompress in NOLA and back at it! #ASGCT2025
CHOP & @pennmedicine.bsky.social have delivered the first-ever personalized gene editing therapy for a patient with CPS1 deficiency, marking a major milestone in the application of CRISPR-based treatments.

My friend Daniel Feliciano unveiled his first manuscript as a PI. They use Spatial scOrganellomics to assess organelle organization in hepatocytes in different microenvironments. Combining 3D imaging & machine learning, they identify & predict organelle signatures in health & disease. WHAT?🚀
Spatial single-cell Organellomics reveals nutrient dependent hepatocyte heterogeneity and predicts pathophysiological status in vivo
Cellular heterogeneity within complex tissues and organs is essential to coordinate biological processes across biological scales. The effect of local cues and tissue microenvironments on cell heterog...
