We will have more to say in the coming days on how to rebuild the North and hold Scott Moe, Minister Tim McLeod and others responsible for their failures during the wildfire crisis.

Onwards, friends. Together, we can build a bright future for Saskatchewan.

This is an important step and is due to the relentless work of the people of Saskatchewan, who are stepping forward and demanding better from the government.

Tonight, I will be meeting with members of the Muslim community in Prince Albert and I will make it clear that peace and respect for each other as human beings — recognition of our shared humanity — is the only way forward.

My heart also goes out to people in Saskatchewan’s Muslim community watching this devastation and suffering, and feeling powerless to stop this suffering.
