Here’s porcelain bud vase I threw on the wheel last week. It was glazed with Jeff’s Long Beach and had a lovely, long high fire in the kiln.
I usually smooth off my exterior throw rings, but I’m glad I left these. The glaze hugs them around the form.

This is my Grandpa Bobby during his service in W W II. He fought fascism, the very thing those who voted to elect Trump just did to our own country.
He would be ashamed of us.
But I am still here, honoring his service. He and his fellow veterans who fought the Nazis deserve that remembrance.
