Aside from the importance of people having representation, I think having a variety of people from different backgrounds, cultures, etc just makes for more interesting and better tv. All white casts now seem pretty boring

That's pretty sad. Sounds like if they're struggling to relate to people who are different from them they should stop skipping through the non-white couples and maybe they'd learn realize they have more in common than they think.
