Everyone should be divided over the US going to war with Iran. I'm divided over it. War is never A Good Thing. But I won't be unhappy if this particular regime loses its access to nukes. IF that's what happens! And what if Russia and China get involved? POTUS should think long&hard before acting!

Actually one of my favorite recent TV shows. Kind of quirky, and normally I don't go for time travel, but it's so cute with a little moral to the story at the end of each show, and Erin Karpluk is adorable... kind of reminds me of Mary Tyler Moore, but with modern sensibilities about sexuality etc

It's going to still be a while, probably a decade or so (only) now, but it seems like it's looking more realistic finally. Here's another example:

Yeah it's like watching the shakedown scene in a 1940s B gangster movie with Jimmy Cagney and Fred McMurray. Pathetic! I'm so embarrassed as a USAmerican :-/

Depressing, but it's also surprising that we can see as many with the transit method as we do. Basically we need to be at just the right angle to see a (partial) eclipse (and think of how rare those are even here on earth where the moon and sun are in almost the same ecliptic)

I think Talia is right, this is a fundamental human need. Faiths are very real to the people that have them! And even so-called atheists believe in non-provable things like "there are immutable laws of physics that govern the universe". ;-)

Not only that, but where is the money supposed to come from? Just pile it on the national debt, I suppose. Notice that all those countries that have a SWF also run a budget surplus...

Thank you for raising this, Bradley.
I love the image, BTW!
What can we do about it? Before taking to the streets in protest, do the obvious: write your congress(wo)man and senators, and tell them to raise hell in congress, and make it clear that your future vote depends on them taking action!

or the company east the tariff, makes less of a profit, and has to lay off workers, and/or stiff investors with fewer dividends, etc
