I had the vaccine and was still sick for 2 weeks. I thought I was better and it came back. Be careful!

My dad worked at the Nevada Test Site. He started at 18 and worked there until his death at 58 from metastatic thyroid cancer. Cancer from the nuclear tests. Its been over 20 years, he should still be here.

It really is. We cared for my dad over 20 years ago when he was passing from cancer. This is harder. He was always him, she isn't. But thank you and I do believe we should all care for others, it's what makes us human.

My mother is slowly fading away. She has dementia and I care for her full time. Lately, she has become convinced I am taking her away. It is heartbreaking that at this point I may have to do the thing she fears.

Also again, white lady here. I don't have a complete understanding of racism, because I will never be the target of it. I listen and learn from people who are. And am I racist to a certain, almost certainly. I have benefited in many ways from being white.

It sounds like you are trying to fit every situation into a box. This is racism because the two parties involved are different races. That isn't racism. Trying to solve it by saying it is won't work.
