Disturbing trend. This is not caused by adding bike lanes in Boston.

Good thing the roads were salted and plowed or else we wouldn't have anywhere else to walk.

Hey there! Glad to find a new digital space. We abandoned our Twitter account back when a person who runs a car company took it over.
In these times it is important to act locally and stick together. Help us promote the car free life we all deserve.

But hang a sharp left onto Charles River Road, back toward Boston and into stuff like this!

Car Free commute.. took a detour to check out the Watertown Greenway. It almost gets you to Watertown Sq where you get dumped into a 5-way, 23 lane intersection. #CarFree #CarFreeLife

How about we make all the Boston Open Streets locations car free every day? @wutrain, let's permanently expand car free zones in Boston.

We are planning a short, symbolic ride along Memorial Drive this Saturday, July 8, to imagine what it will be like when it is closed to cars again on Saturdays. Meet at JFK park at 10:45 am. We're going to ride together and take a lane. Then gather at a park and share snacks.

We're launching a new awareness campaign about how terrible SUVs are. It is a public service announcement.

Look who we just met at JP Open Streets! Local bicycling advocacy legends, @EricaMattison and @LeeToma ! We got to talk about the growing car free movements around the worls and shared a moment of joy on a car free street.

Come on out to JP Open Streets today. Get a taste of what your city would feel like free from cars!

We're hanging with our friends from @xrboston at Centre St and St. John. Get some stickers, handouts and hear about our plans for 2023.

Someone shared this with us just now - a celebration of the opening of the GLX bike path tonight! Not sure exactly where this is but hopefully not too hard to find.

Just got our confirmation for participating in Open Streets on June 25! See you there and leave that car at home.

Yes this is a bike lane in East Somerville. .. if you squint you can still barely make out the remnants of some magic green paint. That community path can't open soon enough.

Reminder: Tomorrow, May 14th at 3pm: sign up for marshal and safety training for direct action.

The Wake up the Earth Bike Parade for Climate Resilience is tomorrow!. The festival is a celebration of a community that came together to stop a highway from destroying their neighborhood. Now we need to stop a climate catastrophe from destroying all neighborhoods.

Went to the @xrboston climate protest today and filled the streets with people and music, which even for a short time felt amazing. The city would be so much better without cars and this would begin to slow CO2 pollution. Go car free and set yourself and the Earth free.

What's your excuse for delaying bold action on climate? Which ones do you hear often? What are some of your best arguments against these?
