My husband's so sweet! All he had to do was move the shelves. He also moved all the junk in the corner. Now all I have to do is box up my desk stuff and we might be able to move the L desk tonight!

Thanks to my mom's help, my latest dress is nearly done. Currently hemming the skirt. It's so freaking floofy and swishy! I can't wait to wear this all fall and through Christmas.

20 days until I go to a small medieval fair about an hour from my house. And, this is my dress! Completely #handsewn #tudorera inspired. I was going for a kirtle look. I'll wear a white shirt underneath since it will be mid July in Ohio and likely hot as balls. Just need to figure out accessories.

My corset is finally done! I'll get it laced and do a proper fit check tonight. I worked most of my shift today getting the upholstery layer on and then adding the grommets. My hands ache but it's so worth it!

Found a pattern on Etsy for a dress. The bodice is nearly complete. (Gotta work on the seams) Then I have to tackle the skirt

Started on binding my smaller corset. The stitches aren't pretty but they will hold. & it's going under a garment anyway so I don't have to worry about perfectly straight seams. My full corset, I'll likely be more careful w/ because it's a statement piece. But I'll cross that bridge when I get there

I am not the best drawer by any means but I was bored at work yesterday and made a sketch of what my one dress and corset combo might look like. Kinda like the idea of a lighter brown for the binding at top and bottom.

Only took 3 days but the seam ripping and separating of curtain material is complete! Now, I must rest my poor wrists until Crafting Weekend so I can destroy them again when sewing begins.

So, the other day, the string holding my crystals to my walking staff broke 😭 and I fixed it today! 🎉 Several of the clear ones broke but I found the green ones in my stash and am loving it. Especially since I have a green gown for Ren Faire. Might even compliment my burgundy dress as well.

Destashing pens- going to see if the daycare my MIL works at takes donations. I can also give them to the arts and crafts center at work.
