It's Children's Book Week and I recently read X. Fang's We are Definitely Human to one of my storytimes and they loved it! Clever and hilarious, it's about offering welcome, respect and unquestioning kindness (and it clearly has the pinkest endpapers ever published!)

Our libraries and library professionals are keystones of our communities fostering minds and offering services to individuals regardless of background. We must lift them up, especially this National Library Week, and demand that Trump and DOGE do not gut support for these vital institutions.
