Is that a crack at my Oma being dead?

“But anybody can understand that nativity sets are war game minifigs.”

My Oma was less than understanding on this point.

Maybe this is the point, but this is also what “Magic: The Gathering at home” looks like

That’s wizard talk. My great grandma slept with a dragon and now sometimes when I sneeze I summon butterflies.

I am glad that you too gave “?” next to VAC indicators

The horn. That’s where the summoner horn goes on the unicorn people.

Final Fantasy summoner vibes

Dodger is an under-appreciated figure.

Not so much a post, but the Discord message about the Power Rangers RPG’s tetanus rules.

This is the second power rangers related post of yours I’ve seen of yours. What are you working on? Is it a 12-story tall crab suit?

Chris Perkins was the editor for Dungeon magazine when I had a subscription in those days. Really loved the adventures they put out. Got a lot of anxiety about the future of the brand - but maybe some new blood will be good!

Absolutely wild to me how some of my favorite art interiors don’t translate to the covers.

He’s a DLC character in Shredder’s Revenge, so you wanna couch co-op anytime you just let me know.

I’m doubling down! I see a campaign about friends coming together to tell a story. As a GM, I see my role as using rules to guide people to that good story, and I’ve no problem breaking the rules in service of the mission. Nothing sucks the energy from a narrative like an underwhelming encounter

All that being said - I’ve never fudged dice.
March 30, 2025 at 1:30 PM
But most rolls I think in your example are GM-determined skill checks over a variety of systems, and in most of those, the book gives the GM range to set those target goals (be it DC in DnD or whatever) anyway. And if I come up with 15 in my head on the spot, am I fudging the dice or the DC?
March 30, 2025 at 1:24 PM
Depends on the dice your fudging.

If you have crunchy combat rules, and you’re fudging THOSE dice to extend a combat that could stand to go on a little longer or trying to spare an NPC that you’d like
to keep around for exposition reasons. I think that’s fine. You’ve probably got good motives there
