I applaud you tripling down. But yes, voters can be fickle and tend to have very short memories. As for blaming libs, that isn't my intention. Pearl clutching isn't going to get it done. Designating someone as a fascist seems to have lost all meaning.

I am pointing out that the way liberals have responded to DT has not been effective. You are kind of making my point by calling people you don't know bigots. It's unproductive discourse. If they person you are trying to reach is a bigot, its a lost cause, if they aren't you are insulting them.

I love a good "told you so", truly. However, a feature of a decent democracy is permitting, encouraging even, reflection on past decisions (votes), seeing how they panned put, and making a different decision next time.
