Concept of virtual worlds presented in games is a kind of independent reality, where everything existing is a digital code created for interaction with the player. Such worlds are as if "created" by programs, there are no physicality and other real laws in them, and what the characters experience is the result of the code that the characters believe in. * In Undertale, player has one save and one world, which feels like a shared space where the player's choices affect events. ** In Deltarune, the system is different: there are three save slots and chapters as independent but connected "worlds". It allows player to explore different ways of story development. Chapters are not interact, but are connected, and relate to Undertale as well, as if they were alternate or parallel realities.
