Poor Mamdani. Sweetheart mayor elect was like, "I will talk to anyone I need to to help NYC."

Will now be the guy on every late night talk show for weeks where they go, "First person ever Trump has looked at the way he looks at Ivanka."

2025 is WEIRD.

Hope everybody's doing great out there this football Sunday! Except the writer who killed off Captain Craigan and had Finn attacked last week.

Public service announcement: never EVER fly Avianca Airlines. Holy smokes what a train wreck we encountered moving here.

Haven't been posting Savvy stories bc everyone won't leave FB but I need a record.

Context: Savvy has, her whole life, tripped over completely flat ground.

More Bogotá love.

Was sitting in a BBC (Bogotá Brewing Company) with Savvy and Donny, for a late lunch.

Police walked through looking for ID, told me Savvy could not be there.

We already had drinks, food coming.

Told her, I asked at the door. She confers with colleague.

Late to the game, falling in love with "Yellowstone".

Lloyd to Jimmy: "The shame hurts more than the physical. But shame, it's in the mind. You can turn that faucet off any time you want."

I'm finding Colombians to be the most helpful people I've ever encountered in my travels. I'm astounded how at absolutely every turn, people are there wanting to help, from carrying bags to figuring out their self check outs that are a bit odd. I absolutely love #BogotaBeautiful

Anyone else sobbing their way through the Handmaid's series finale?

I think this might be the best and most important show ever made.

Bahaha I read on Reddit or somewhere that power outages are extremely rare in Bogota.

I now believe this to be true because my block just went down- and a bunch of people screamed!

Even funnier Donny found the screaming hilarious and joined in then yelled, "And who is touching my leg?"

😂😂😂😂😂

I love it here (Bogota).

Savvy went to the lobby of our apartment complex to grab a delivery.

Dude had Gaga's "Poker Face" playing on his phone. So Savvy started singing and shoulder dancing to the music.

He joined in. Then they both started laughing, she came back beaming.

This city enchants me.

A butterfly sanctuary with a guide.... in the MALL! The food here is just beyond comprehension delicious, the mountain beauty is breathtaking...... this is the best place I've ever lived ❤️

9-1-1 AND Last of Us. Two shows I loved and have now lost all interest in watching after latest episodes.

Showrunners are getting lazy and think horrific shock deaths are good storytelling. They're not. They're cheap and dirty and lazy. Also, given the real world right now- read the fucking room.

My love story with Bogota continues. I'm so unbelievably happy to be in this beautiful and vibrant city.

I just jinxed Savvy during a family Harry Potter movie watch.

Then I blocked her on WhatsApp to diminish the annoyance. Now we're watching quietly.

Follow me for more parenting tips.

Watched the first three episodes of Handmaid's Tale.

Too close to home.

Too realistically nuanced.

Very hard to watch if you are paying attention at all.

Handmaid's Tale Season 6 dropped THREE episodes at once to start the final season.

Go watch. Be affected. Know this show is not something ludicrous but a very possible reality.

First, I LOVE "The White Lotus".

But I'm kinda disgusted by how many articles keep saying that this season "nails female friendship".

If you have female friendship dynamics as horrific as Jaclyn, Laurie and Kate, please run screaming.

With constant move stress, I'm amusing myself by making up stories about the busybody in the (apartment) tower next door

This woman literally hangs out her window craning her neck trying to see what's going on in other apartments. Donny was rubbing my feet earlier, she was watching intently.

I'm sorry for all Americans who may want to punch me for my joy.

But I just re-connected with a 25 year friend who lives 1.5 miles from me in Bogota. She's Colombian, we met as waitresses in our early 20s in NY, and here we are, 20 years later, less than 2 miles apart in HER country. ❤️❤️

Something that ALWAYS strikes me when I travel in Latin America.... the desire to share their cities.

Going through Customs last night, the agent in Bogota finished asking all the official questions, and just in a curious way was asking, are you guys like visiting friends?

I'm so joyfully finally here in Colombia for the long term. I feel like I can breathe again..... I did not feel that way in the U.S. Stay tuned for more Bogota Beautiful photos and Savvy hilarity from this lovely city!

In first class because it was cheaper with the luggage fees than economy.

Listening to some finance bros behind me excitedly talking about how it's a great time to short Tesla.

It sure is. And I love that for everyone.
