I'm finding Colombians to be the most helpful people I've ever encountered in my travels. I'm astounded how at absolutely every turn, people are there wanting to help, from carrying bags to figuring out their self check outs that are a bit odd. I absolutely love #BogotaBeautiful

But I'm kinda disgusted by how many articles keep saying that this season "nails female friendship".
If you have female friendship dynamics as horrific as Jaclyn, Laurie and Kate, please run screaming.

But I just re-connected with a 25 year friend who lives 1.5 miles from me in Bogota. She's Colombian, we met as waitresses in our early 20s in NY, and here we are, 20 years later, less than 2 miles apart in HER country. ❤️❤️
