The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to allow it to fire the head of the Office of Special Counsel, which oversees government whistleblower protections and enforces certain ethics laws.

What Trump has done for US farmers so far:
-frozen their foreign aid program (and left their food to rot)
-encouraged EU to ban their products
-frozen legally-owed reimbursements for their energy efficiency upgrades etc.
-threatened to deport half their workforce
-suppressed research on bird flu

After years of cheering on Trump’s war against “government workers,” his own diehard supporters are now realizing that means them too.

So Elon Musk has the same ethics rules as the Supreme Court: none.

This is why vetting and security clearances matter.

This guy stole company secrets for a competitor and now he has access to potentially classified information.

Our competitors are China and Iran, not small tech companies.

Will Congressional R’s protect our national secrets?

So money already appropriated and granted for SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare and Head Start can be cancelled, but not the $137k for new drapes and things for Pete Hegseth’s government-provided house.
