As someone who grew up with a younger brother……I think Soap has younger brother vibes.

i’m in the outline stages rn but my #ghoap fic idea I was talking about was an AU where Soap and Ghost meet in a grief support group.
They were both soldiers but they’ve left the SAS now — Ghost due to physical injuries and Soap from severe PTSD (after watching his loved one die on the field)

#ghoap unrequited love is so so sooo good especially if Soap finally builds up the courage to tell Ghost how he feels only to be turned down in a way that’s so professional and detached that Soap feels like he can’t trust himself anymore and never attaches himself to anyone again.

I do love a good - “Ghost is the worst version of himself when grieving” - but I also like the idea that he gets quiet.
He already barely talks but it gets worse. It’s scary how silent he is.
He’s distant. Cold. A phantom that haunts the base and scares the shit out of the others (1)
