Today I found out that my beloved Hamilton has cancer. He will not be with us much longer. I am devastated. He was my buddy. He made being a disabled shut in bearable. I honestly don't know what I will do without him.

On this day 45 years ago I was trying to get home from an early crew meeting at the restaurant I worked at. Mt St Helens erupted,Metro busses quit running and I was forced to walk home while ash was coming down like heavy snow. I was 16. I was very much afraid.

7 years ago my son stopped this sweet boy from being sent to the pound and he came to live with us. His name is Copper. He is at least 12 but may be much older. Yesterday we found out that he has congestive heart failure and could drop dead at any moment. We are devastated because we love him.

Here is a perfect example of right wing bias in reporting. It says all gender affirming programs that received grant money must stop. The only $ amount is 4.5 billion but that is the total grants to health departments in US for ALL health depts. No mention of percentage or true amount.
