really my main issues are that launch is able to one shot basically any enemy if you put upgrade points into it so combat can get a bit one-note and the puzzles don't quite go as hard as they could, especially in side missions.

turns out from the furthest i'd gotten to the end was only about 2 more hours. good game obviously but it doesn't fully come alive unless you're doing side quests. once you have the optional abilities and see some of the weirder side stories. that said it really goes weird in the second half.

so it came up randomly in a discussion with some associates that all of us had played control, all of us liked it, but none of us had finished it.

I liked that when they did the 25th anniversary update they kept software rendering as an option so I can play on my 43” tv with textures I could cut myself on
