So, my recommendation for a better 2026: filter out the stuff that brings you down, and double or triple up on the material that makes you feel encouraged when you're done with it. Curate your feeds to weed out the things causing you psychic damage when you open the app.

I'm a big believer in being careful about what you feed your brain, because it affects you in ways you may not even be aware of. But even folks who are very curated about their media diet often don't realize what else is getting ingested beyond books, movies, tv and music.
