I could argue the points all day but let’s be honest, nobody protected this child not her Adopters not the state, they supported her as a child to have have a child.

We’ll keep speaking out.
Because adoption didn’t end in the 1980s.
Because we’re still living under orders with no rights.
And because we remember what Taken really means:
We were taken — and we’re still being taken from the conversation.

Adoptees are being excluded from policy, apologies, and panels — again.
We’re being used for storylines, silenced for politics, and pushed out of our own narratives.

And we’re exhausted.

This matters. Because the people leading the public narrative are:
❌ Not adopted
❌ Not acknowledging lived adoptee harm
❌ Erasing the fact that adoption is lifelong — not historic

So what is the Truth Recovery Independent Panel actually doing?
Because if forced adoption hasn’t been acknowledged in NI — then what truth, exactly, is being recovered? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Now she’s making false statements again.
She recently claimed Northern Ireland received an apology for forced adoption.
That’s simply not true.

NI gave an apology for institutional abuse and child migration — not for adoption.
