The later being key; as impressive as LLMs have become, they don't appear to have emulated the most human trait of all, to be truely creative you have to imagine.

I know this isn’t an original thought, but the cruelty on display is horrifying. I think they believe it demonstrates power. Seems more like a reflection of weakness to me. And unsustainable. People may hold different views on governance, but it’s an only a tiny minority that celebrates cruelty.

I continue to play games from the early 00s such as The Sims 2, Startopia and Unreal Tournament. They play extremely well on my potato of a laptop and haven't become any less fun over the decades 😆

It feels like new games are all chasing the latest shiny in the hope of catching it and winning big.

I instantly thought, oooh I could use that to track how long I sit for because I love graphing inane things like that 😅
