Did anyone mention the Deeds of Paksenarrion series or the Black Company series?

Dirthamen is an interesting one at least. What's kind of funny is that is the Vallaslin my Lavellan had. 😁
I got Dirthamen... Which of the Evanuris are you a devotee of?

My favorite detail about Krampus (besides how fun it is to say) is that it is tradition in places to leave out an offering of booze for him. Sounds way better than milk and cookies. 😆

My favorite thought on the holiness of seminarians is a quote from Augustine of Hippo,"Oh Lord, give me chastity and give constancy, but do not give it yet." I am just a guy and never was very holy. These days I just try to live a decent life and leave the religious stuff to people more suited to it

Dragon Age Origins is the most progressive title in the series. Everywhere you look in that game there is commentary on various forms of bigotry.

Ok I don't know if it's a hot take but I got so mad when I found out that Shephard was killed in the beginning of Mass Effect 2 and they brought them back that I never played any Mass Effect games past 1. Still a huge DA fan though. I really should go back and play the trilogy at least.

Some the narratives floating around about Veilguard's lore are frankly silly. There were some surprises sure but as far as the lore went most everything in Veilguard had been setup in prior games or tie in media. Of course I wish there had been more too.

It's an unfortunate truth of our history as a species. We are always finding excuses to treat each other badly.

Here is the bit people tend to forget. If you tell a child they can't do something, often that makes it more interesting for them. So either they find a way to do it anyway or do it later in life. So when a book is demonized or bad, that will make it more appeal to some kids.

I remember when that came out. We had so much funny with it. I think it might be my favorite thing Palladium ever did.

I remember getting so mad in Fable 2 when your dog got shot. I was furious 😄

I have been playing video games since the 80s. I actually never used Twitter. I never have done any video game development. I did do a little bit of freelance ttrpg writing back about 20 years ago.

So I started playing D&D in 1981. I have made a lot of characters. What I do is before anything is find out basic details on the setting the DM is using. Then I think about what I want to say with a character. Next is what I want the character to do and how they will fit in a group.
