Got some great news today! We received funding from the UC ShipFunds program to conduct a research expedition next spring in the California Current Ecosystem examining the microbial and metabolic succession on particles as they sink out of the euphotic zone! #POP:ART

I came up on a surprisingly relevant line in Cervantes's Don Quixote today. "For the possessor of wealth is not made happy by possessing it, but by spending it. And not by spending it at he pleases but knowing how to spend it well." Seems some morals still need to be taught, even after 400 years
