Ye, "flutter" may not fit every context that tweeting did, but the word tweeting didn't fit before it was attached to Twitter to begin with. I mainly chose flutter since it seems to fit the platform mascot. Maybe something else would fit better, and skeets or beets or whatever, those i think don't.

Subjective, of course. I feel that skeets or bleets just fall too close to tweets and having something unique and flows with the platform would be nice. Flutters are just my own suggestion. We'll see what actually catches and goes from there. This is making a nice conversation, though.
