in the same breadth, Talarico blamed the media for the recent @axios.com article about his social accounts following porn actors and escorts, calling it “clickbait” and claiming Axios published it just to make money. was quick to dismiss the notion of hypocrisy. www.axios.com/2025/11/08/t...

“When did pedophilia become a partisan issue?” Talarico in response to questions about the Epstein files and Trump connection. American people deserve all the information, he added. #tribfest25

back in Texas for #Tribfest25 and the James Talarico panel is packed this morning. lot of excitement as Talarico talks about faith and love for neighbors. “Politics is just another word for how we treat our neighbors.”

Uber was brutal.

I’ve been thinking this since the theme was announced, honestly didn’t want to cover it. but targeting of Black & queer art at major institutions (ugh Kennedy Center) made the #metgala felt more important than it had in years. praise @taylorcrumpton.bsky.social for answering my last-minute call.

please read and share because it’s a fundamental part of our democratic process to ask if laws are working as intended, and if not, to re-write them.

if people really want laws that protect women’s health and babies’ lives, the findings are clear: this ain’t it.

this justification — life and health — is so important to remember because the laws are making these things WORSE.

the Supreme Court ruled the same on a previous Texas law, concluding the “state’s evidence did not show how the law advanced its legitimate interest in protecting women’s health.”

a brilliant exercise for a reporter. I didn’t know anything about her friend (politics, background) I focused on verifiable info on the effects of the laws i.e. peer reviewed studies, news edited by real editors like @propublica.org and @texastribune.org, reputable NGOs like @commonwealthfund.org
