Right? PERFECT opportunity, missed. I’m a respiratory therapy student (graduating this year!) near-ish KCK and I would nerd out so hard over seeing this book tour.

That being said- I’m cis, I’m white, I’m mostly straight-presenting. I understand that I have the privilege to be able to hold space for these conversations. Not everyone does. But if you can, I’d encourage you to. As they say in the Episcopal church “all may, some should, none must.”

Aw, I remember those college kids! I don’t know if I ever said thanks for giving us younger queer misfits a place to hang out. “Cortney and Erin’s house” was a safe space for us, and one of my earliest experiences with finding community.

When my son was learning punctuation, he called question marks “mystery marks.” That was almost 10 years ago and I still call them that.

My plan was to watch nothing relating to Trump until ESPN ruined that for me.
