I don’t think the primary motivation is because green energy is cheaper, China is does not bow to capitalism like the US.
This sets them up as a leader well into the future, and is simply good for their people and the world.

It’s not one or the other but a balance of both. Too many regulations have been eliminated with simplistic thinking that the market solves all problems.
Some things are better left to the government where profit can be ignored. Other things need heavy regulations to keep things in check.

A solid infrastructure diagram is super important, as well as as having your ci/cd all setup and fully automated from the start. Obviously you’ll need IaC, and a good project layout and git strategy too.

There aren’t stores there already. It’s not hard to understand. Running a store isn’t rocket science. Pa liquor stores all run just fine. Plenty of logistics shipping in booze from all over the world.
