There is no proof that any of the 80 people mutdered on the high seas were an imminent threat to national security. Ordering them to be slaughtered without Congressional approval is illegal. He may be immunized by a corrupt SCOTUS, but the ones receiving the illegal orders are not.

If he means it is a legitimate issue about trump's malfeasance that he is attempting to kill with ludicrous protestations, yes, it is simlar. Only this one may deal him the metaphorical fatal blow.
