Honestly believe Kat's sights are set too low for the reach she has, but that's just my opinion, especially if the district has enough reps that are like her.

She could do a lot more good at levels where that visibility is more useful.
November 24, 2025 at 2:46 PM
No, I get it, and as an outsider, it's not my place to say who y'all should vote for anyways. Just find it weird when other folk, like the gent that sparked all this, use excuses instead of tangible reasons other candidates are better.
November 24, 2025 at 2:45 PM
And I was just replying to you saying you don't see a reason to vote for her. I was just acknowledging your response.

I do understand that. Our current government is an example of "good" (or at least better than their opponent) campaign vs how good they are at governing.
November 24, 2025 at 2:42 PM
Then don't. No one is saying you MUST vote for this candidate, but she as much the right to run as anyone else and based on recent polls, she's sitting near the top, so she cannot be that bad.
November 24, 2025 at 4:51 AM
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing in what you tagged. She was asked to come tlby constituents, mentioning a possibility of a pay day loan being added to that location. I don't see anywhere in the article or her replied statement where she lied about being there...
November 24, 2025 at 4:49 AM
What I don't see is you calling out larger companies for doing even worse things with AI. Just harassing smaller creators that are just trying to do their best. They're not using AI to make things, which is the whole reason AI IS bad. Using it as a tool is what it was designed for and should be.
November 24, 2025 at 1:14 AM
If you're gonna call someone out, probably should tag people in it.

Hate to tell you this "bestie" my job isn't captioning moving pictures, people can see what's in front of them. I narrate a story balanced on game, players, history, and soo much more.
November 24, 2025 at 1:14 AM
Then why chastise and not call in instead. Can't say I knew about this Bsky program and I live on here, so we shouldn't assume people are doing things on purpose. Sometimes you don't know what you don't know.

Again, just feel like this is a lot of fire for someone trying to at least be transparent.
November 24, 2025 at 12:44 AM
Not sure how cropping images equates to upscaling blurry images, but I agree, it's not necessary.

Do I believe people would also carry about blurry/ill-cropped images cause it's the Internet, yes.

And I know the OW community well, there's no winning here.
November 24, 2025 at 12:37 AM
I'm also disabled and know others that use AI in certain instances to assist with tasks. That's the whole reason AI was supposed to exist, to help, not create.
November 24, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Unless they have an actual LLC, they're not a business. I've seen streamers label their contact info the same and they don't have official businesses. Again, unless we're gonna hold everyone to that standard, maybe we shouldn't look too deep in colloquialism.
November 24, 2025 at 12:20 AM
The AI isn't writing articles or drawing images. They're using it as basically a Thesaurus check and Art Cropper. Could it be done by hand, sure. Is it a major issue in the grand scheme of EVERYTHING HAPPENING IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW, no.

Priorities...please.
November 24, 2025 at 12:11 AM
They're literally being transparent in how they're using AI, which is much more than I can say for several other industries that are actually removing jobs with it. Wendy's just introduced AI to replace Drive Thru cashiers taking your order. Are you mad about that as well?
November 24, 2025 at 12:06 AM
You're holding a Bluesky account that specializes in one video game to the standard that places like NYT and WSJ don't even follow. Maybe point the anger and fury there over things that matter much more to the world than a single video game news social.
November 24, 2025 at 12:04 AM
You do realize this page, I'm pretty sure, isn't a business. It's a game fan page and does not have the staff or resources that full newspapers or news departments have to run staffing. Not to mention, person/s on the team could be disabled and require the help to keep up.
November 24, 2025 at 12:02 AM
They really don't understand that we don't give a flying fuck who's in it, Dem, GOP or otherwise. They were all complicit and need to be dealt with. Let the establishment fall!!!
November 23, 2025 at 10:38 PM
AI is good in what it was originally designed for, to handle extensive equations that would take scientists years to do by hand. Helping prep closed captions is another good use (prep, not handle, as there should still be someone editing the flow and text). It's a helper, not a creator.
November 23, 2025 at 10:20 PM
I can admit when I'm wrong. I'm sorry I assumed otherwise.

Doesn't change the fact that it's disrespectful for this man to say she just uses the district for a photo op when she's doing the same things he is to serve the district.
November 23, 2025 at 12:06 PM
The bigger question I have is, assuming that she does move into district as she says, what makes her a worse candidate than any other currently running in the district. She has ties to the community through family and friends, serves said community, even going beyond it's borders if necessary.
November 23, 2025 at 12:03 PM
Not every ad on a screenshot is related to the author of the article and since I'm kind enough to provide my sources, I don't believe it's much to ask this gent to do the same.

Still don't understand how what I've said is incorrect, nor does it contradict what she's said multiple places.
November 23, 2025 at 12:00 PM
Surprised the previous gent didn't mention that.

Would love to see if any interviewer has tagged her on this aspect or if there's something deeper she's not discussing. Unfortunately, if you wanna get into politics, privacy kinda goes out the window.
November 23, 2025 at 11:55 AM
Still wanna know what this resolution involved. Socialism is a very broad term.
November 22, 2025 at 6:51 PM
www.thenation.com/article/poli...

She had to move to the area by force and couldn't immediately find a place in district but has plans to reside in the district once her family finds a place to live. Her family roots are there. Do better research.

Clipping something without sourcing is bad journalism. You'd think a litigator would prove their sources more.
