Moved all my stuff from Hamilton to Napier in the early 80s to arrive at a house needed for a 'family emergency'.
Passed the same house a week later with a 'For rent' sign up.
Wish I could say it was a one-time only happening. "Parlay" and "rent" are not words used together by most landlords.

I don't use my phone for those things. It's strictly for making/receiving calls, txting, & taking pics/videos. I do everything on my home computer and, so far, haven't been asked for a phone number for any SM sites. If asked, I ignore the site and move on. I don't even use Google Maps on my phone.

It has EVERYTHING to do with the way the US is now treating anyone they deem the wrong colour or speak the wrong language!

I had a paper round back in the 70s to pay for a school camp. I don't remember the exact pay, but I do know that Mum had to top it up out of the $6 per month family benefit payments for, I think, 3 months.
Good luck surviving on it these days, provided you can find employment doing it.
