Why is it only "likely" ?

Well, you still read things that were nor written by either Mayor Pete or me. DOGE was a cluster f*** from day one. Govt could definitely be more efficient and more effective. I know this from nearly 40 years of working with the govt. Making govt better would not lead to its inevitable destruction.

Facts always matter. No matter what side of s debate you are on, use correct facts to the best of your ability. Otherwise, your argument is invalid.

Explain. If a majority voted for him that would mean more than 50% of eligible voters voted for him. He got 49.8% of the votes that were cast (so he didnt even get a majority of the votes cast). And voter turnout was only 65.3% so he was elected by 32% of the eligible voters.

Not exactly. A plurality voted for Trump.

Wow. You have a major problem with reading comprehension. Neither Pete nor I said anything to remotely suggest that Musk's DOGE did anything good. They cut vital research, famine support, etc. Do you want to live in s wotkd with no planes, and invaders like Putin in your back yard?

WTF is wrong with this man? And, why aren't Nancy's colleagues standing up for her? Every reporter in the room should have repeated the question until he gave a professional answer.

You seem to be misinformed. I've worked in aerosoace & defense for 40 years. Uncle Sam is my customer for both commercial & military applications. There IS inefficiency in govt and Mayor Pete is merely pointing out that rooting out activity that is inefficient and/or ineffective govt is a great idea

Math is hard, and we teach it poorly.

He said we all want efficient government. There is waste in every organization in the world. Improving government efficiency by 1% saves billions of dollars. How is that hurtful?

As an engineer and a part time college lecturer, I've been on the receiving end of students who can't do the fundamental math I learned in 11th grade. I don't expect an engineer to remember how to use log functions 40 years later (they do) but a sr. In mechanical engineer should have no trouble.

So, we're going to channel Chamberlain not Churchill.

Do we're going to channel Chamberlain not Churchill? Go it.

So nothing in the Bible is worth hearing or even thinking about? I think you missed a few positive things.
November 23, 2025 at 1:24 PM
I've been reading my Bible for more than 50 years. Anyone who thinks America is the country God was foreshadowing is smoking something.

Your ignorance makes you hateful. That must be a burden. Bye.

Youre looking at the high profile, "christian" right. I'm pro-choice, want separation of church & state. And I like beer. There are 200+ recognized Christian denominations in the US. And many are not in your face about any of these issues.
November 15, 2025 at 11:32 PM
If you're suggesting there aren't any decent Christians, then you don't know many Christians. My church strongly condemns the behavior of "christian" nationslists. Most churches do.
