Not for these glasses with their ties to Meta -- but smart glasses in general? Face blindness (cognitive disability which means you can't recognize faces). You could program in photos of people you know (with their permission, of course) and be able to recognize them when you encountered them.

Also for people with face blindness or other cognitive deficits affecting their vision!
My partner would love glasses that helped him identify people he knew, close friends, etc., because that part of his brain doesn't work.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that part.
Okay, permanent DST - even though it's still dark outside when I leave work.

I am above 40 degrees. It's annoying - we should just stay on standard time. I would live with earlier sunsets in the summer to just never switch -- and I thought that when I lived above 50 degrees.

Not so good. Need to sleep. I'm not even watching the game, just refreshing the results...

Psychometric tests should also be robust enough to measure the child's actual ability - It's not like a competition. It's more like a diagnostic test.

So glad it's not a real exam! I was worried that I was so out of touch with the Toronto school system and they had implemented some kind high school style exams but for little kids. I heard that homework was getting bad but that would be horrific.
Our best wishes!

I am grateful to the Satmar communities for saying this. There are a lot of people trying to use a false claim of anti-Semitism to scare Jews against Mamdani - when really they are just betraying their own bias against Muslims.
(I was so sad to hear the conservative rabbi's baseless sermon)

That's okay. They don't need to endorse him.
But I'm really happy to see them coming out to say hey, he's not anti-semitic. The fact that they don't agree with him politically isn't important (except maybe that it shows they have no other reason than the truth - which is good.)

We have a vaccines board book where the vaccine is depicted as a literal superhero in a cape flying around the world saving people.
It's part of the baby medical school series, and I learned some complicated words from it.

That would make your shoulder very greasy - and seems a waste of hot, delicious chips. My toddler would not approve.
(Chips are on the very short list of foods that she likes every day)
