Yeah the timing seems iffy, that's either someone clutching at straws or something deliberately put out to put out the fires that the Real Madrid approach started. Reeks of damage control to me.

I blame us as a whole - we were too sloppy in possession and gave the ball away too much but Trent on particular was abysmal.

Yes we're still top and yes we still have a game in hand but it doesn't change the fact that it was a perfect chance to pull even further away from Arsenal and really stamp our authority on things. When the chasing back drops points you HAVE to capitalise on it and make it count. #LFC

If his head's already gone and he's mentally checked out then it's time to either drop him for the rest of the season or negotiate with Real to sell him now. You can't have ANY passengers in the team during a title chase, you're either 100% committed to the cause or you go.

We love the guy but he's acting like a bellend - if he can't quiet the noise around contract talks then he needs to be taken out of the team as we're competing on all fronts and trophies take priority over EVERYTHING else. Don't see Virgil and Mo letting their standards slip.

All players - regardless of who they are and how important they are to the team - deserve to be heavily critiqued after a performance like that especially when you gift-wrapped two goals for United of all teams. And at home!

She is AWFUL. The bubblegum voice works great for a face but as a hell it's just terrible.
